Hair of the Dog

I wake up
hung-over from
late night television.
Last night,
talking heads proclaimed a
terrorist attack was imminent.
I stayed up, enraptured by the
prophecies of doom.
Now, groggy, I flip the T.V back on.
Terror Attack Foiled.
Crisis Averted.
Disappointed, I fall back asleep.

Nice, I had my news ruined recently too, but nothing as trivial as a Terrorist attack, it was Prejean!
